I'm a professor in applied mathematics and I live in Madison, Wisconsin. I've been interested in photography for a long time: I got my first digital camera in 1999 and I've been taking photos ever since! I like that photography combines both technical and artistic aspects.

I travel frequently to attend conferences and visit universities in the United States and beyond. I enjoy taking photos of a wide range of subjects, and a creating a visual diary of places that I've visited.
