Hello! My name is Mike and you could probably guess what town I live in, based off my photos. I love photography and am also interested in local history. Yes, I take my own pictures too. Mostly of my family, of which I don't really showcase here. I shoot both digital and film cameras. I tend to capture family stuff on the digital and use the film for more casual or everyday stuff: Scenery, buildings and things. I like taking skylines, street scenes, night shots and such, but being the father of two young kids means I don't get as much time to go out these days as I used to. All of the 35mm stuff has been scanned with my Nikon Coolscan 5000. If you've ever considered buying one and have lots of 35mm negatives and slides, go for it. You won't regret it!

I leave the download option available because I want everyone to enjoy my old photos I collect. Want to download a few for sentimental reasons? Go for it! Want to download for any other reason, like to put in a book or to make money by selling prints and things? Don't! You do NOT have my permission to do so. We can negotiate that, but I ask you get in touch with me first. Also, the first time I discover prints from one of my images for sale on Ebay, I will put an ugly watermark on everything.
