My foray into photography began when I purchased a light-weight Panasonic DMC-FZ18 bridge camera so as to record images of the wildlife in my garden and beyond. Sometimes, they were good enough to be able to identify the subject for recording!

After a few years I upgraded to a Sony DSC-HX400V which gave me greater scope and it became a well used and trusted tool for the same purposes.

Following the sale of a top of the range Swarovski telescope I have been able to buy a Sony Cyber-Shot RX10 IV which will, probably, be my last ever camera.

I'm currently checking all of my images which have been stored on hard-drives and intend to complete some form of weeding out of those not suitable for my Flickr page. So, some images shown will be historical and 'out of season'.

I appreciate any suitable polite comments which can help me to improve my photographic skills.

I doubt that any of my images are suitable for use by another person in breach of copyright...
