Having spent nearly 40 years mountaineering in the UK, I have taken lots of photos and some of them are good so thought I would start posting a few on here but not too many. Most are since 2009 when I switched to digital. One day I shall digitize my 35 mm prints and slides! For those who know about these things, I have climbed all the Munros and their tops three times, the Corbetts twice, the Grahams twice, the Donalds and their tops twice, all mountains in Ireland over 2000 feet, the mountains in Snowdonia, most of the Lake district mountains, much of the Dark Peak, the Pennine Way plus parts of the North Pennines, North Yorkshire Moors and Coast, Pendle Hill and the Troughs of Bowland, plus other bits and pieces. Included in all this is what is known as "The Scottish Full House" finished for the second time in 2018 and being only the third recorded person to do this twice at that time. All routes, with photos but no maps yet, are on my simple website of the same name: getlostmountaineering. It begins with www and ends with co.uk. Had to be devious to get this allowed! Note that all photos have been compressed which may affect their quality. The originals are typical about 5 MB taken in JPEG and mostly using a Panasonic Lumix 70 and Lumix 80 which are about the best reasonably priced compact cameras I have found. The originals are available on request. I have also used a Canon SX40 at times which has a very powerful zoom. None of the photos have been retouched, they are as they were taken, warts and all!! A very few may be cropped but that's all.
