New to birding and loving every minute of it!

Living near Big Morongo Canyon Preserve in Morongo Valley, CA - what a spot to learn! This desert oasis brings together migrating birds and local residents in one amazing place. Still figuring out who's who, but every hour in the Preserve brings new discoveries and the opportunity to capture memories in photos.

From vermilion flycatchers to mystery warblers I'm still trying to ID, each shot is part of my birding journey. Lucky to call this incredible habitat home!
