I'm a fine artist, I began finger painting as a little kid, like most kids in the USA do,and playing with Play-doh , drawing with crayons ,pen , pencil and paper. It turned out to be my life long love.I was encouraged by my teachers and really everyone who saw my artwork.It seemed to be my path in life. I never looked back.Since then, It's my means of expression, how I communicate.I'm a visual person, who found her niche. I make all kinds of art and am mostly known for my experimental techniques in Abstraction. I'm basically a "formalist" who grew out of Abstraction Expressionism,tried my hand at Color field painting though I ended up developing my own personal experimental style.But I also try classical forms, because I also love all kinds of art ,I dabble in Realism, Post Impressionism, you name it, I've probably tried it! Horses have always been in my vocabulary,as have seascapes, drawing , painting and sculpture, nothing is off limits as far as I'm concerned. I don't go by whatever is popular, I do whatever I feel like doing. Sky is the limit!

I'm pretty introverted ,and like most artists I work at home, in my studio, alone ,most of the time, though I have collaborated with other artists on occaision, I prefer to exhibit in International group exhibitions,it's much more interesting to me than exhibiting alone.I rarely do one person shows. I've organized numerous very large scale exhibitions, and been invited to participate in many worldwide shows.I'm not a person who is all about me, I'd rather be known as a person who shares ,crosses boundaries, opens new doors in art ,together with International artists. I've been incredibly lucky this way, and to be born in a century where air travel was easy. And the internet made so much more possible! I was also lucky enough to meet so many of the artists I admired when I was a kid, and many became lifelong friends. Also being female,when I began professionally exhibiting, women were all but shut out of the artworld, among my friends and mentors was Helen Frankenthaler, who considered herself only as "an artist" not a "female artist" and I felt the same way.Gender should have no role in art. An artist is an artist. I am an artist. That is all.
