I Started this project in 2016 after seeing YTube videos of other Grade School/High School Basketball footage from the 1970s. One video was FROM Chillicothe IL PEARCE GS Gym in 1976. Our own Gym! Also Baseball games from behind the backstop at PEARCE GS Baseball field where we played Little League/Majors games. So I set out to find the Video of our last second State Championship win. IESA said they didn't have it but did provide a lot of the photos here. I in turn uploaded to their IESA dot org site the 1972 Heavyweight AH and Lightweight (B) State Champion photos. You can see the CHAMPIONS album at their IESAdotorg website. Thanks to them. The rest came from my visits to Chillicothe, Peoria IL area in 2016 from Peoria Library and Chillicothe IL Library. I remember 1972 very well. It was a great time in our lives when we won this State Championship. Our family moved in late Aug 1972 but we never forgot the fun we had there. It was a pleasant surprise to find 50 years later they still remember us and that event as a Chillicothe IL VOICE newspaper there printed a story about us. Those are included in this Album.
