AMS International Motocross Stekene
Drag to set position!
AMS Stekene (Belgium)
Founders Pierre Troch, Romain Roelandt and Edmond De Block.
What started as a trial ride from the Bormtestraat to the layered pits of the local brick factory, quickly grew into a motocross race.
This quickly became one of the most beautiful and spectacular motocross courses in Europe.
Organized for the first time in 1947 as a trial race to start as real motocross from 1953. The very last motocross took place in 1982.
With the exception of Gilbert Vandervreken, all AMS members have since passed away.
