Hi, I'm Kat! I'm a passionate astrophotographer and Sky-Watcher Australia ambassador based in southeast Queensland, Australia. Born in a small town in New South Wales, my journey into the cosmos started with a childhood visit to the Mt Cootha planetarium, which sparked a lifelong fascination with space.

In 2020, I began my astrophotography journey with a second-hand telescope. Since then, I've learned a lot from the astro community and aim to inspire others, especially women, to explore their passion for the stars. When I'm not capturing stunning celestial images, I enjoy history documentaries, family tree research, playing the guitar, upcycling furniture, and other creative pursuits.

My love for astronomy led me to become a dedicated content writer, sharing my knowledge and insights about the night sky. I manage my own astronomy website, where I post "how-to" blogs and more.
