A little bit about myself :-)

Enthousiastic amateur, currently using a Canon EOS M50. I started (serious) photography on an old Exakta Vx500 with my favorite lens, the Meyer-Optik Görlitz Orestor 135mm f/2.8. I moved on to the digital era in 2008 using a Sony Alpha A350, although this meant I had to retire the Orestor as well...

In 2021 I bought the Canon EOS M50. One of the big advantages of a mirrorless system camera is the ability of adapting vintage lenses. This means I can use my beloved Meyer-Optik Görlitz Orestor 135mm f/2.8 again and that was the beginning of a hobby: using vintage lenses on modern digital cameras. I like to hunt for vintage lenses on flea markets and second hand shops. The collection of vintage lenses has been growing ever since, now existing of multiple Canon FD mount lenses (Canon FD 50mm f/1.4, Canon 28mm f/2.8, Sigma Zoom-K 100-200 f/4.5, Tokina SD 70-210 f/4-5.6), a Pentax-M 100mm Macro f/4 and 2 Prakticar B mount lenses (Pentacon 50mm f/1.8, Pentacon 135mm f/2.8). And of course the Orestor. The collection will probably keep expanding :)

I love to shoot a variety of things. Normal, every day things. Things I run into, things I create myself. Animals are always nice to capture, as are most things in nature.
