I'm retired and living in Southern Alberta, Canada.

I'm drawn to capturing the abandoned homesteads that dot the backroads of the area where I live, but every once in a while my eye catches something other than the abandoned treasures I seek and those, on occasion, will also slip into my photostream.

Exploring Alberta backroads is always an adventure, and I find that the intriguing hunt for a new find is just as appealing for me as the capturing of it.

Although some places invite you to come closer, and some most certainly do not, definitely every one of them shares with you the story of their past if you take the time to look and listen.

I hope my photostream will resonate with you in some way that brings you a smile, a thought, or possibly maybe even a memory or two.
