hello. I enjoy shooting with inexpensive mirrorless cameras and lenses. Fujifilm X-M1 (APS-C), Olympus E-P5 (M4/3), Nikon J5 (1inch), old lenses manufactured over 30 years ago, all is second hand, no full-frame cameras . Since just a consumption activity, it's due to economic circumstances and has no particular orientation. Well, a few times I've experienced the excitement of expensive purchases quickly turning into disappointment with myself.
My Nikon J5 has a C-mount adapter with a Gfoto.ru chip attached. It enables magnification and autoexposure on J5, instead lying that any lens is 50mm f/1.4 and wide open, and even if J5 is switched off, continue to drain battery. Gfoto.ru store seems to have been discontinued several years before the invasion of Ukraine. (WEB shop appears to be alive, although not on eBay.)
In fall of 2022, I got a cheap P3 QLED display. I uploaded a bright red flower and then turned off adobeRGB settings on my digital cameras. I found sRGB to be sufficient.
In early summer of 2023, I made a mistake setting date on my camera and learned how to use exiftool. Now able to set old lens name as well, but unfortunately not reflected in my Photos app....Late 2024, I got new Photos app version 9 (on outdated M1 Mac) and now displayed!
