I am an androgynous soul of a certain age and I love showing the world Sophie. I am proud to be this way, and if you are on the trans spectrum then I hope that you are too. I write reflectively on what it means to me to be trans and am currently trying to get a novel on the subject published.

In 2019, I was privileged to act in a trans awareness film called Eyes Down - hey, I even got nominated twice as best actress!! You can view the film here: vimeo.com/433811529/a1e3eedb9c I missed out on attending most of the festivals that it was entered for due to lockdown restrictions, but I did manage to go to the House of Lords and you can see the photos from that event on this Flickr account. The film has also been shared internally with staff at Disney UK, in the form of a newsletter. Who knows, I might end up playing Mary Poppins! Well, a girl can dream!
