Suddenly my account stopped receiving notifications for 3 days straight and I couldn't figure out what was happening. Someone apparently reported one of my photos of me wearing a thong as nudity (it is not nudity btw), and my account was locked (shadowbanned) from being seen by others. It is the worst feeling in the world and it keeps happening to me on many platforms after going viral. I eventually had to get a pro account to have everything restored, however I'm still upset that I was ever flagged in the first place. Too many times my social media growth has been halted due to double standards or just plain ignorance. Even though I'm not a female or a trans woman, my nipples get flagged as nudity 24/7. I've lost huge tiktok accounts for just showing my bare chest. I've been shadowbanned for 3 plus years on Twitter for nudity when I don't show any. Unfortunately I've also ran into many toxic individuals who disagree with my opinions and they are just the type to report and censor someone they do not agree with. Elon Musk bought Twitter because the censorship was getting too out of hand and I will always believe my following count was stunted due to unheralded shadowbanning. Now that Flickr shadowbans as well, I may stop posting like I did on Twitter and everywhere else. Will anyone remember me or will the shadowbans be permanent? I need a new site to go viral on. Any suggestions?
