I am Mohammad Tasawar Islam from Dhaka, Bangladesh. Started being serious in photography from college life in 2016, photography has always been a great source of inspiration which helps me in developing a certain point of view about life and the world around me. Currently, I am studying Mechanical Engineering at Military Institute of Science and Technology.

Street photography is where I find the most comfort at. I always try to comprise my visuals with urban life since I take photos mostly at Dhaka. Urban realities, cacophonies and split moments which vanish in milliseconds attract me like nothing else. Hence I try to bring out layers, colours, candidness and mostly "LIFE" in my photos. Filmmaker Satyajit Roy has been the greatest inspiration for me since he understood and portrayed Bengali life like no one else. To name a few, I am deeply influenced by the works of Raghu Rai, Alex Webb and many others photographers around the globe.
