Hello,

I am Ganpat the Celt. In 2020 I started building with LEGO. My first AFOL (Adult Fan of LEGO) project is called Asterix the Gaul. This play set or display toy kit is based upon the Gaulish comic book Asterix. I incorporated the storylines of the first comics - especially the very first book: Astérix le Gaulois (1965) by René Goscinny and Albert Uderzo.

There are also hints to the Asterix movies from the 60ties and 70ties.

I have entered this project into the LEGO IDEAS website. If the project reaches 10 000 supporters, this digital design could become a real LEGO IDEAS Asterix and Obelix set. I would really appreciate it if you would like to vote for it here: bit.ly/AsterixtheGaul.
