I love animals & my mother sez I feed anything that has 4 legs! She also said she's sorry I didn't own a farm because I LOVE & CARE about & for so many animals!

when I retired, I began helping my friend who's been feeding feral colonies around town for almost 20 years. A wonderful family who lived in the country said we could bring some cats to live out on their property (10 acres & lots of woods w/ trees to climb)! We moved cats from several different locations in town to what we know as THE KITTY RANCH & from then on I fed & cared for them until their property was sold & the new owners gave me 2 weeks to find them homes. With a lot of prayer & friends I was able to do just that!

I began with about 17 cats counting the 2 that already lived there & some that just showed up. FERAL CAT RESCUE is both heartwarming and heartbreaking. It's expensive and rewarding AND it is a giant responsibility that has to be done no matter how you feel or what's going on!

I make my own greeting cards using the pix I take & the money goes to buy food & vet bills for my feral cats who now live out on a 75-acre farm w/ 3 barns & dogs & cows & wonderful people who love & take care of them.

Years ago I rescued two, one-day old ducklings. BOY! that was an education & experience! I released them on a private duck sanctuary; wrote a short story w/ pix for my young grandsons & their favorite part was learning the ducklings' first swim was in a p'nut butter jar lid!
