Photos from in and around Sheffield, UK (and some trips further afield). Old enough to have done black and white developing from 35mm film. Back to photography after 25 - 30 years away. Having fun and learning. Lots of photos of parks, trees, cemeteries, canals, and the streets and people of Sheffield. And of course, lots of cats and dogs.

I have found a passion for street photography. I am trying to take photos and tell stories about what it means to be human but also our culture, habits and ways of living. The street photos are not posed and mostly candid. I aim to create a photojournalism of everyday life. .

New to flickr but I enjoy seeing other people's photographs and really appreciate other people's comments on mine, although please be respectful of the subjects. Disrespectful comments will be deleted. I don't sell photos for profit and if anyone sees themselves in a photo and is unhappy about it, let me know and I will remove it. My intentions are always kind and empathetic with the subject, never malicious.
