Photography has always been an integral part of my life. Due to my age I started shooting film and then migrated entirely to digital sometime around 2008, but since 2019 I've returned to a mostly analog based approach. I use digital to scan my negatives and to take snapshots of my family, but all my creative work is now shot entirely on either my Spotmatic or my RB67. There are so many reasons as to why I've chosen to ditch digital - too many to enumerate - but the main one, and certainly the most important, is that shooting analog, with all it's inherent slowness and consideration, it's tactility and simplicity, is just so much more pleasurable. It makes me happy, and that's the main thing, right?
