Welcome to my online portfolio!

My name is Rowena Lamb and I am a 20 year old student. I am in love with the world of art, and I find music and video links closely to this. Much of my work comes from pondering the importance of music, film and art in our day to day lives. This becomes especially important in the world that we live in now. Where many can often feel restricted and uncertain by the current happenings in our natural and political lives, art has become an outlet in which some of the freedom we have lost returns. This is the same for family, friendship, music and the make-belief, all of which are reflected in my art.

I am hoping to bring back the nostalgia and familiarity that we experienced before the technological world, whilst still incorporating it into my work and reflecting on how we can use it to visually communicate important messages. The concept of adjusting to dystopia is something I am fascinated by.
