I often admire other peoples photography, especially their Black & White work. there are some truly amazing professional and armature photographers out there.

I first picked up a camera ( NIKON FM2) when i served in the British Army. The Army were good enough to send me on a professional course or two.. Then send me around the world whilst carrying my Rifle and Camera.

I have been influenced by my experiences in the Army and admire those who take amazing and thought provoking photography whilst under extreme stress. Don Mcullin , Lee Miller and Anthony Loyd ( whom i had the honour to work with ) being a few of many that i admire.

I am fascinated by people, and i would love to develop more skill in portraiture.

My passion is aviation. I have been fascinated by everything that flies since i can remember, even to the point that i obtained my pilots licence at a young age.

These days i am often found strolling around with my cameras, hoping to take that one shot in a hundred, that is just that little bit different.

I would like to thank everyone who has taken the time to view my "Happy snaps" and for all those who have liked and commented on them. I hope by looking at your work, that it inspires me to improve and develop myself as a photographer. So thank you all, and keep taking those photos.

P.S. I am not a fan of AI generated images. I am sure it has its place somewhere, but not in photography. This is just my personal opinion.
