Hello! I'm Sergio. This is my personal digital space for you to get to know me better.

I am passionate about science, especially acoustics. Photography is a hobby, as is videography.

I have a youtube channel in Portuguese talking about my career as an acoustic engineer. You can check it out later.

I studied Acoustic Engineering, a five-year undergraduate course with a focus on acoustics and vibrations, in Brazil. After that, I invested two more years in my master's in mechanical engineering, where I specialized in the evaluation of sound localization through the implementation of virtual sound sources.

At this point, I am an Early Stage Researcher at the Eriksholm Research Centre during industrial training as part of my PhD studies at the Hearing Research Institute, Scottish Section, at the University of Nottingham. I am part of the H2020 EC Marie-Curie ITN project 'Innovative hearing aid research - Ecological conditions and outcome measures' (HEAR-ECO), a collaboration between the Eriksholm Research Center, VUmc Amsterdam, and the University of Nottingham.
