Jonathan opened his first LEGO set when he was four and hasn't stopped building since. His LEGO design skills were first recognized at the young age of 16 when his Violet-green Swallow was featured in the LEGO House, LEGO's official museum in Denmark. Shortly after, he completed his first LEGO design commission with his Bricktown Train Station, which remains the centerpiece of Bricktown's train display.

Through his teenage years, he entered and won both local and national building contests and continued to design commissioned models for businesses, schools, and individuals. His projects quickly grew in size and complexity, from leading and teaching a team of students as they designed a 6,000-piece scale model of their school, to creating a free-standing, 43,000-piece UFO weighing in at a massive 80 pounds.

Jonathan is currently attending college at Cedarville University's International Center for Creativity. Through it all, he still hasn't stopped building; he recently completed a 160,000-piece recreation of da Vinci's The Last Supper, his largest project yet. He hopes to become a toy designer and create inspiring and educational products that do for thousands of children what LEGO did for him.
