I am a Proffesional Environmental Artist and I run a Community/Public Arts company called www.willowarts.co.uk specialising in making sculpture out of natural living materials. The sculptures I build are often built with living willow and so continue to grow and become living tree buildings or messolithic architecture.

I make living willow sculptures in the shape of whatever the people want, they are often stuctures that can house you or envelop you.

I like the idea of being inside the work and it surrounding you, there is a perfume to the trees that is part of the experience, its a spiritual experience, or if your a kid its just fun, a place to play or learn. Its like giant living basket making or tree wrestling depending on the scale.

I build a lot of the sculptures for childrens schools as outdoor classrooms, this is such a cool way to learn and the kids are very entusiastic and help build the work for there school and I teach them weaving, sculpture and how to care for the trees.

I also make beautiful Fine Art Photography on a 1961 Mpp plate camera. I have been a practising Advertising photographer since 1985 but left photography as job in 2000 when I started making the environmental sculpture professionally.

The photo work is my personal stuff with some of my sculpture pictures from the willowarts company work.

I make the art for the love of doing it and being out there in the green spaces teaching folks about art and outside ecology stuff, I'm very fortunate, but often, very broke (the artist life), but luckily happiness and love are mostly free. Being Positive luckily costs nothing.

Please comment on the pictures I am very interested and value everyones opinion, good or bad, say something, please express yourself. Thanks.
