The Shy is an American Hip-Hop and Pop Artist with passionate vocals, powerful melodies,

and deep lyrics full of mystery, wonder, and meaning often compared to NF, Sufjan Stevens, and The Neighbourhood.

He writes his music from a very real and vulnerable perspective, crafting engaging stories and emotional melodies while bringing the excitement of his music to life on stage and in the studio. He has found inspiration in artists The 1975, The Neighbourhood, NF, Halsey, and Twenty One Pilots. The Shy performed in Vans Warped Tour as a drummer for the band Acoma Chyne after competing in and winning 1st place in the Ernie Ball Battle of the Bands in 2013.

His debut album "Masquerade" released in the fall of 2019 and demonstrates his willingness to be vulnerable and to be real about life from an awakened perspective.
