I've been a Special Education teacher of adolescents officially classified as "Extremely Emotionally Disturbed & Socially Maladjusted" in NYC and Oakland; and currently work with developmentally disabled adults. I'd like to say that photography has been the one saving grace that has helped retain my sanity (perhaps), but truth be told, like anything else you truly love- it's also driven me crazy more than once over the past years with: missed shots, missed exposures, missed moments of my own life trying to capture others.
