This is my Flickr account for light painting, a new genre I have recently taken up thanks to the introduction by my good friend Michelle Essenson. My purpose at this time is not to showcase my work but rather a repository of different images showing me my progression as I try new techniques and styles to determine a future path. One of my favourite light painting tools is the "Ball of Light" made by Denis Smith and I'm still struggling to get an upright sphere, hopefully I'll be able to look back at where I started and eventually gain the skill to get that perfect upright orb! The other aspect of light painting I love is being able to create my own tools. Another light painter that I really admire is Eric Paré whose work with tubes is awe-inspiring. He and his sister Kim Henry have an amazing YouTube channel and show how to make your own DIY light tubes.
