I always wanted to be an artist growing up, but haven't been able to realize my dream because, like they say, life got in the way. I needed to pay the bills. Sure, I could have done artwork after hours and such, but I also became my mom's caregiver until she passed away in 2012. By that time, my creative focus had turned to photography and working in my garden. I was hoping eventually my photos could be used as reference photos. About a year ago, I started really wanting to get back into my artwork, with the hope of being able to use that as supplemental income when I retire in a few years. :-) So here, I am. Flickr has been a good source of reference photos for me so I thought I'd set up an account where I can "give back" by uploading photos for people to enjoy. I'm not a professional by any means, but feel I have some pretty good ones that people can use. Enjoy!
