Hi everyone, my name is Yael DeFaye, I live in the San Luis Valley since 2006. Prior to that, I live in France where I was born. I have traveled a lot in my life, visiting 4 continents and 18 countries.

I started photography in 2007. In the last few years, I have spent more time specializing in the art of photography. I still enjoy capturing nature, both landscape, and wildlife. You can buy prints from me in my store, I'm a big fan of canvas prints, especially those with the extra wooden frame!

I continue doing senior and family pictures along with small weddings or being a second photographer to larger weddings. What I finally specialized in is conceptual portraits, which is to capture someone in a role or environment that doesn't always define them. Just imagine being an actor on a movie set and capturing those moments!

I have taught photography classes and I'm in the process to transform them into destination workshops! I have lots of work to do, lots of new partnerships to build and showing a different side of me.
