Hello. My name is Mike and have been enjoying photography as a hobby since my early college days and think my best work was early on with a completely manual Olympus OM-1. Digital initially took away the creativity with all the automation, but am now finding the joy and creativity of manual and the time it takes me to think about and compose a picture. I do little, if any post processing, but once in a while do see the need for more than a little cropping or to fix the tilt, especially of a water picture. Okay, strike that. I used to do as little post processing as possible, but am finding it quite a necessity, especially with Astro shots. I use this site primarily to share with my cousin.
