Retired Project engineer and contracts manager. Born Waltham Abbey, Dad was a driver for Tesco's from 63 to 91, my uncle spent time at Hall & Co @ Fishers Green and then Imperial Engineering. I spent many days out with both of them and ever since have been an enthusiast and now spend my time reading the various magazines and following YouTube and flickr which provide many memories and pictures of vehicles I have seen over the years.

I did my apprenticeship @ E&E Faye Ltd, Ponders End where Southbury Road was a great spotting place for through traffic. long before the M25 was built.

I then spent 12 years @ IDV Gilbeys in Harlow before its closure in 1990, where every day saw something different in terms of both UK or foreign registered lorries. Then worked for Co-op, Haywards/Premier Foods where many different companies provided the transport before spending last years of working in contract management.

Been living in Carlton Colville, Lowestoft for last 33 years.
