Birding bring me serenity in a crazy world and photographing the birds (and occasionally mammals) I see along the way provides a deep and abiding joy in my life. I share my photos in an effort to pass forward a bit of the joy and serenity that I get from these moments of encounter. Recently, I try to compose my shots to show the birds in their habitat and exhibiting some element of their behavior.
