I live in Cork, Ireland and would consider myself an enthusiastic amateur photographer. I initially dallied with photography when I was a teenager (Tri-X Pan, blankets over the kitchen window for the temporary darkroom, and my prized Rolleiflex) but so-so photographic results and college, work, marriage and general busyness meant the cameras only emerged for the obligatory family events for many years. About 10/12 years ago I got my mojo back with digital and have been keen ever since. I'm an active member of my camera club, and have been constantly trying to improve my photography over the last number of years. Recently retired, I'm looking forward to having more time to devote to making images.
