I collect cameras. I have about fifty of them, from the 1920s to the 1980s. About ten years ago I gave up photography and put all of my cameras into store, mainly due to failing eyesight. Recently there has been a small improvement in my eyesight so I have got some of the cameras out of store again, and also bought a Nikon DF and J1.

During the years when my cameras were in store I took a small number of pictures with mobile ‘phones and similar devices. I have uploaded some of these, even a couple taken with a Sony PlayStation Portable which I had repaired for somebody and was returning to them.

I still shoot mainly on film, all of my black and white and most of my colour is on film. I have a very old film scanner but it is not very good and only talks SCSI, and I no longer have a computer with SCSI, so I am having to use Snappy Snaps in Croydon for scanning, which is now not possible until the lockdown ends.
