I'm an enthusiast naturalist based on the Surf Coast in southern Victoria (Australia). The outdoors and wildlife has been a lifelong interest for me; since I was a young kid, birdlife was my main interest and I've spent plenty of time travelling the countryside on birding endeavours. Birds were the main interest, but that extended into mammals a good few years ago. Nowadays let me search for anything in the tetrapod realm - birds, mammals, reptiles and frogs. Even the occaisional butterflies and dragonflies.

In recent years I've started catalogueing the amazing wildlife I see on adventures around the country my camera - enjoy! My typical setup is a Canon 5d mk.iv with 100-400mm f4.5-5.6 lense, and then a range of on-camera / off-camera flash set-ups.

I'm a father with a young family, so my main time searching is out in the nocturnal world these days. You'll find a lot of my pictures searching for owls, possums, gliders and other wildlife of the night. My other passion is pelagic birding, forever smitten by the opportunity of what could be found out on the sea. I keep a record of my sightings, these are mostly contained in eBird and iNaturalist.

I'm always on the lookout to improve my photography, feel free to pass on any tips.
