Hi!!! My name is Andrea Bella and I currently live in Grandview, West Virginia USA. All my friends call me Bella so feel free to do so as well. I was born in NY on Long Island and moved to Jupiter, Florida when I was 4yrs old. I wanted a change of lifestyle and decided to move to West Virginia when I was 32. I have been a resident here since 1997 and have been through many changes in my life. My very favorite ones are the CHANGE of seasons.

As most of you know in South Florida the only indication of a change in seasons is the changes in license plates!! I love to experience the seasons...only why is winter so long?? I still have saltwater in my veins! When I was 35 yrs old I met the most amazing man whom I married, he grows 99% of the flowers I photograph. I have an album titled "Garden Flowers" if you feel like seeing the gifts his green thumb bears. We have 2 dogs, Pablo & Sadie. Sadie has a nickname: Shady, because that she is! Moby is our Maine Coon cat that loves to bully Sadie! As you have probably already guessed, I have no children. The photo's of the children in my cache are of my friend's kids. I wanted to introduce myself as someone thought I might have been a robot! LOL I feel like one sometimes! I don't have many photos of myself but will try to work on that.

I attend Church of God of America and love to romp around town with my phone and my tripod after Sunday service. We live in an area surrounded in beauty with many old structures and rich in the history of coal.

The state of West Virginia is also know for poverty. One day I am going to put together a collection of photos showcasing and intimate portrait of this poverty and those living among it.

I thank God for leading me to Flickr during this pandemic. I'm taking more photographs than ever and have never before posted anything online aside from Facebook. I am enjoying traveling the world thru the eyes of the global Flickr photographers. Flickr has truly been a Godsend and may seriously have saved my life. I put to bed an unhealthy addiction and I believe God gave me this as a reward of sorts.

I am truly grateful for every Fave and each comment & award ! I am immensely enjoying my experience here!! I need to add that my laptop is an artifact and the only camera I have right now is the one on my iPhone 7. I rarely use my laptop due to it's age and speed so I have not been able to give awards properly and for this I ask forgiveness. I created my own critique system by giving red diamonds, like you would see in a deck of cards. 5 diamonds being the very best! I hope this will be adequate as I use my phone for 99.98% of my Flickr activity. I am also seeking feedback that will help me to improve my craft.
