Hi, I am Rick J. Woods . I am a serious hobbyist photographer that lives outside Chicago in Northwest Indiana. I am a former graphic artist (mostly pro sports graphics). I majored in fine art in college many years ago.

I have shot nature, car shows, architecture, friends and family. Over the last six or so years, I have moved more into shooting female models in art figure, nudes, glamour, fitness, swimsuit and lingerie. You have to be logged into Flickr to see all of the photos that I have to label moderate or restricted. Since I have Flickr pro now, I will be adding other photography besides my model photos, like car shows, architecture and nature. I generally post a variety of my photos, not just the best shots. So some photos aren't particularly good, but show a bit what a shoot with me looks like.

For the model shoots I am sticking with mostly basic type ones at a small studio I have access to in Valparaiso, sometimes at my home, your location if your willing, rented studios or hotel rooms, or somewhere private in nature. If you have a location to shoot at I would love to hear about it. Good locations can be hard to come by at times. Sometimes I will travel, and will post those notices on Model Mayhem. Due to this being a hobby not a profession, I am generally limited to weekend shoots and have smaller budgets.

I am also interested in attending photography, glamour or lighting type workshops or group shoots in the Chicago- NW Indiana area on weekends. If people can point me to photographers or models hosting those that would be great too.

I am interested in finding a few first time models to shoot as well. If you would like to try modeling I am very willing to do a shoot! It would be at no cost to you (outside of your time). It would be to your comfort level, nudity wouldn't be required but would be appreciated. I would also share some photos (digitally) with you that you can use for your portfolio or social media, as long as you credit me in the your post.

Note about groups: I don't mind adding my photos when invited to a variety of groups. However, if the group is private, you need to add me to the group before inviting individual photos.
