Azul Blaseotto is a visual artist, university teacher, comic book author and mountaineer. Master Art in Context, Universität der Künste Berlin, National Painting Professor, Universidad Nacional del Arte/ U.N.A Buenos Aires.

She uses documental drawing, photography, installations, writing and performative interventions in order to research artistically specific and complex socio-cultural processes, generating action and narrative devices. She works in dialogue with cultural and political initiatives linked to territory, human rights and the rights of nature.

Her first graphic novel, “Vamos a la playa”, is published by Trenes en Movimiento. She´s working currently on the new one.
