I have a bridge camera which is adequate but a digital SLR would be good. I do have my old LR camera somewhere and it might be cheaper to buy the old Steam Punk style chemicals and dark room stuff, I did enjoy the process and have had some excellent results. can't get the hang of focusing on very close things with this bridge camera. Pity there is no means of manually focusing.
I am glad they invented Digital Photography, It's another form of the art with loads of advantages but the old way when you had to wait to see the results was great fun. I did like the smell of the chemicals in the olden days though. My brother set up a darkroom and we both enjoyed taking and developing photographs when we were in our teens. How things change. I prefer these days to the olden days without any doubt. Our old black and white prints must be in my loft. Must look for them one day. xx
