Yarra View— An Exceptional Nursery Experience

Located in beautiful Mount Evelyn at the foot of the Dandenong Ranges, Yarra View Nursery produces more than 1 million plants per year for distribution to popular retail chains and the commercial landscape sector. We produce a vast range of plants including camellias, magnolias, ferns, Australian natives and bonsai across our 12 acre site.

Yarra View Garden Centre is our retail nursery providing complete garden needs to the general public and can be visited at 136 York Road, Mount Evelyn.

Yarra View Nursery stands apart not just because of our exceptional quality and service to the retail and commercial horticulture industry, but because of our strong history as a Social Enterprise. As a division of Knoxbrooke Incorporated, a disability services organisation, Yarra View Nursery employs over 100 adults with an intellectual disability. We assist people to realise their full potential in the supported employment environment, giving them skills, confidence and opportunity.

For people with a disability, we recognise that holistic and supportive infrastructure is key to overcoming employment barriers. Our social enterprise gives participants flexible, tailored support through informal local learning and socialisation environments, work experience, education and training, employment succession plans, and ongoing supported employment or open employment services.

We have an enduring commitment to assisting our employees to access the National Disability Insurance Scheme, and strong relationships with key industry partners, and educational organisations. We are able to provide a wealth of support services that promote individual choice and decision making.
