Hello, I am originally from Detroit, Michigan, and now live in Palm Springs, California. I was a map nerd when I was young and majored in Geography at Michigan State University. While in college, I hitchhiked from England to Switzerland, and then up to Amsterdam. I have been traveling ever since. Seeing new places prompted my interest in photography. I am particularly interested in city skylines, state capitols, buildings of historic or architectural interest, landscapes, lighthouses, and coasts. Growing up in Michigan, I’ve always had a particular fondness for the Great Lakes. I’ve accumulated thousands of photos and have been posting on Flickr so that they have greater exposure than they would have in a self-made coffee table book.
