Just an elder amateur with a predominant interest in wildlife and still life - analog as well as digital, and working with various equipment (antique also).

"Make-up" is a cipher for minor post-exposure digital adjustments using Photoshop, which are in effect just as common (and necessary) in analogue image processing, such as adjustment of global brightness and contrast, as well as color temperature, saturation and hue (if that applies). Final determination of image boundaries and aspect ratio also belong in this category, while more pronounced cropping and digital enlargement is mentioned separately. Furthermore, edge sharpness is often enhanced using the "unsharp masking" tool of Photoshop (especially in animal photography); a technique that, at least in principle, is also known from work in the analogue dark chamber. Some developers (e.g. good old Rodinal) are suited to enhance edge sharpness by chemical means. -

According to my understanding and usage, the term "Digitale Bearbeitung" ("digital processing") stands for post-exposure digital modifications that go beyond what was mentioned before. Typically, the term refers to local (not global) alterations or even manipulations, such as retouching or removal of (from the esthetic point of view) spoiling or undesirable details (not being part of the object of interest and mostly out of focus). Digital processing may also involve a variety of other local or zonal optimizations, sometimes using different 'layers' in Photoshop, a powerful tool. However, I rarely use advanced techniques like these, and if so, it is generally my intention to make more visible what is already present in the photo, not to create an image that is completely different!
