I grew up on a farm then went on to become a farm labourer before becoming Station Overseer at Colona Station west of of Ceduna on the edge of the Nullarbor Plain. Later working at Yalata Aboriginal Mission aiding in the development of the traditional artefact business a world wide clientelle. Asked to move to Alice Springs to take position with Finke River Mision visiting Aboriginal people living and working on cattle stations. After five years moved to Coober Pedy at request of Lutheran Church. From their offered and took position by Yalata Aboriginal Council to aid in Community Development. As children became older and needed secondary education moved to Murray Bridge and held various positions with SA Water. until retirement.

Upon moving to Murray Bridge became involved in amateur thatre and stage direction, directing a number of well known stage musicals, Camelot, My Fair Lady and Barnum, to name three.

Have always had a vague interest in photography and now in retirement hope to become more proficient.
