Hello, I’m Stephan—an amateur photographer from Germany with a chronic case of wanderlust and an equally chronic inability to commit to a single camera system. Whenever my day job allows me to escape the daily grind, I chase the light through landscapes and lose myself in the streets of old cities. There’s something about weathered stone, ancient facades, and the quiet drama of a wide horizon that keeps drawing me back behind the lens.

Call me crazy, but besides photography, I’m also a tech nerd, which is why I’ve tried out many different camera systems over the years. I’ve taken photos with Sony A6000 and Sony A7, Canon 6D II, Nikon Z6/Z7 II/Z fc, Fujifilm X-T5, and more iPhones than I care to admit—plus the occasional drone to capture the whole scene from a bird’s-eye view. Currently, I mainly use a Nikon Z5 II, and as my go-to camera, a Fuji X-E5.
