My photography is in search of all things natural and simple, things that bring peace and calm when viewed. I am a self taught photographer and grew up in Missouri and Oregon. I was lucky enough to have always lived close to water or right next to unowned land. I would spend most of my free time just wandering around in the woods or climbing hills, feeling at one with nature.

I am continually amazed at how stunning the colors can be found in nature. It is one of the great thrills in my life if I can capture that feeling and color to share with the viewer.
