The GEF6 Project is protecting biodiversity and natural resources by improving National-State communication and coordination and expanding partnerships between National, State, Nonprofit and Business sectors. Activities include 1) Landscape, Seascape and Master Planning [of the Babeldaob and Southern Lagoon Joint Coordinating Bodies (JCBs) as well as the State Planning Teams (STPs) ]; 2) Biosecurity and management of Invasive Alien Species; 3) Use of Best Practices in agriculture, aquaculture, fisheries, forestry and sustainable tourism, 4) Improved surveillance and enforcement; and 5) Gender mainstreaming and inclusivity.
