I picked up birding as a hobby in early 2019 and have been photographing them as long as I have been identifying them. I am a self-taught photographer with over 400 different bird species seen. I also photograph other animals but birds are my favorite subjects. They present a challenge as they don't sit around for long. I especially enjoy photographing warblers; trying to capture them and their stunning colors as they move quickly from branch to branch. Some of my best work is shown in the showcase below. I use a Canon Powershot sx 60 hs.
