I have drawers full of photographs, and now I have hard drives full as well...

Since I was a teenager (a while ago) I had always had the desire for an SLR. Eventually I got there. I can remember a lot of photos of seals taken with my Olympus OM1 and mirror 500mm lens. so many films of just seals.

Early days of holidays to Namibia were on a modern Pentax MZ50, it had Auto Focus! and we devoured a lot of film (so many elephants)

Eventually one of the first Digital SLR came around, this being a Pentax 1SD, this I took to Africa, less film to carry this time.

I now have the luxury of the Sony A7 3 and the Nikon Z7, I am obsessed by taking photos from plants in the garden to shooting in hides, and have really enjoyed my time in Africa, and having the opportunity to photograph its spectacular wild life. The lens collection has gradually grown.

I also get tremendous pleasure from finding the local squirrels in the woods and capturing the birds that come into the garden.

I am lucky in living close to a wetlands and wild flow centre. After concentrating on the small birds in the garden it is good to adjust the lens to the slightly bigger joys.
