I'm someone who loves nature, hiking and photography. Fortunately, these three things go together very well.

Most of the time I shoot landscapes and wildlife, with the occasional macro.

Any feedback on my photos is greatly appreciated, especially constructive feedback.

I started photographing during "film days" as a kid with different point-and-shoot cameras. After a while, I took over a Zenit E SLR Camera from my grandpa and used it with the only lens I had, a 50mm. My first digital camera was an 8MP point-and-shoot Kodak, from which I progressed to a bridge camera: a Canon Powershot sx30is. 4 years later I had switched to a Sony A6000 which has been my faithful companion on many treks, hikes and walks. As the need for a full frame camera became obvious, I switched to the current camera: Sony A7iii.

I do not photograph any animals in captivity, with the exception of the "Freiwildgehege" in the Bavarian Forest national park, where the animals have lots of space to roam and live semi-wild. I do not have any issues with people who photograph captive animals, I just do not do that myself..
