My name is Max Spitza and I am a rising junior at Brophy. I live in Ahwatukee, Arizona, and will be turning seventeen in July. Some of the things I like to do are play baseball, listen to music, and drive with friends. The thing that makes me very interested in photography is the power that photographers have. Of course, I am not saying power such as a king or president but rather power in the sense of being able to move someone by one of their pictures. In my favorite movie, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, the photographer in the story is constantly telling Walter Mitty a story through the pictures he takes and the moments he captures. Photos have the power to make someone stop and have a calm moment in a busy life.
